Zaman University Scholarship Examination
Zaman University offers a number of merit-based scholarships. These scholarships are offered to any students or any interested individuals who demonstrate high intellectual capacity in the Zaman University Scholarship Examination.
Date: 11 September
Venue: Zaman University campus
Time: 10 a.m.
All high school diploma holders and students who sat for the 2010 BAC II exam are eligible for taking the Scholarship Examination on 11 September.
There are altogether 305 scholarships available:
- 5 students will get 100% scholarship
- 10 students will get 50% scholarship
- 290 students will get 25% scholarship
Candidates should register their names to sit for the Scholarship Exam via online or by calling 023 996 111. The Scholarship Examination is free of charge.
Candidates need to bring a national ID Card or a passport with a picture on it on the exam day.
The students should be ready to take the exam on 11 September by 9.45 am in their respective classrooms which are going to be announced soon.
Useful information about the scholarships
If a student succeeds in getting a scholarship in the academic year 2010-11, the student will benefit from it until he/she graduates provided the student maintains 75% success every year.
Scholarships cover tuition fees only. They do not cover registration fees. All registered students need to pay the registration fees.
Scholarships are given to registered students only. To benefit from the scholarships available, students must register with the university.
There are no cut-off points set earlier for the scholarships. To be fair to everyone, the cut-off points for the scholarships will be determined by all the students' performance in the exam.
The questions in the Scholarship Exam cover a range of topics from general knowledge, mathematics and physics.
